General - 1 answer
I had a transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) that involved removing my semen tube. Can it be repaired so I can once again produce semen. I am a 65-year-old semi-healthy man and have a much younger lady who would like a child by me.

Can a vasectomy cause a constant urge to urinate?
Vasectomy - 2 answers
I had a vasectomy Dec 2017, and within three months I started to really struggle with a constant urge to urinate. I have gone down the correct health care routes and had CT scans, ultrasounds, bladder medication and even a ridge cystoscopy--all have found nothing or had no effect. Prostatitis has been the diagnosis query for the past 5 months with no proof of it. I've never had any kind of issues before and now I can't help but blame the vasectomy procedure. I see no relief; life is miserable.

I had a vasectomy 16 days ago. The incision has not healed and it feels like the sutures are connected to my scrotum. Is this possible?
Vasectomy - 1 answer
I had a vasectomy 16 days ago. The incision (1.5-2.5 cm) has not healed and feels like the sutures are connected to the tissue under my scrotum. Is this possible? The incision itself does not seem to be healing correctly. It's not all the way closed and has large incisions sticking out one end. When I gently pull on them, I feel it deeper than the superficial skin. The incision site has some white/yellow to it and isn't draining significantly. MD started me on antibiotics 1 day post-op.

I have a low sperm count 3 months after vasectomy reversal. What are the chances of it improving?
Vasectomy Reversal - 2 answers
The semen analysis found 0.2 million sperm count per ml - zero motility. This is a reversal done 10 years after the initial procedure. I was looking to start IVF but the doctor (who has a good reputation) says to have another test after 3-4 months. What are the chances of becoming fertile again?

I ejaculated 11 days after a vasectomy reversal. Recovery has been routine w/ what doctor suggested. No increased pain or swelling since. Am I OK? Before you tell me that it isn't recommended, I know. I will continue to follow my doctor's orders for the next 2-3 weeks. I'm just curious if there are any signs I should look for that would indicate anything is wrong. To be honest, I feel quite a bit better today than I did beforehand.
