Can a vasectomy be performed on an 18 year old?

I suppose was there are some very rare situations where that would be appropriate. If the 18-year-old had a serious congenital disease that would be a significant enough reason for him to be an acceptable candidate for a vasectomy. However, there is no socially acceptable reason in someone of that age

Absolutely. There just needs to be appropriate counseling for the patient to understand long-standing implications.

Yes, and usually under special circumstances. In these cases, I prefer to have the parents and their primary care provider involved. Although legally there may be no issue in certain states, I want a consensus opinion. Regardless of the reason why a young man would want a vasectomy, there is still a whole lot of life ahead. Trust me, things and situations change.
