I've had blood in my semen for 2 years now. Three different urologists can't figure out the cause, despiteurine & semen tests, cat scans, multiple antibiotics. After all this, no change. Prostate checks normal. It "feels" like my testicles, mostly my left, is working again. Is it possible the vas deferens have connected somewhere but not back where they were before the vasectomy? Can you feel the vas deferens through the skin to find if they've reconnected?

If a semen analysis is negative, then it has not reconnected. The blood usually comes from the prostate and can be exacerbated by taking aspirin or ibuprofen. Once the workup is negative, then usually it will stop with time. Two years is a bit long but it is probably not related to the vasectomy.

Depending on your age, the prostate medicine Proscar can sometimes help and may be worth mentioning to your doctor for his thoughts. This is not usually a medical problem but is very aggravating to the patient and partner.
