I think about sex on a regular basis and I'm 61 years of age. Is it normal to have what appears to be a semen discharge after my vasectomy, which was done roughly 6 months ago?

This is not a result of the vasectomy. When straining, the prostate can sometimes excrete a milky fluid that has the appearance of semen. In the majority of cases, this is of no concern and is commonly seen if there is straining to use the restroom. If concerned, as always, default to an exam by your urologist.
