I've been getting more and more pain in my testicular area since my vasectomy 12 years ago. What can be done about this?

I have been getting more and more pain in my testicular area since my vasectomy 12 years ago. I had an ultrasound done and there's no cancer, so what can be done to relieve the pain?

Your pain is highly unlikely related to the vasectomy from 12 years ago. I suggest you see your urologist for a history, a physical exam, a urine test, and probably a scotal ultrasound.

You may have developed obstructive epididymitis from sperm build up. Try hot tub baths and an anti-inflammatory. See your urologist for a quick physical exam.

See a urologist. You need an exam and ultrasound imaging, then maybe antibiotics and ibuprofen. Surgical removal of the epididymis and vas sites may also be necessary.
