I had a vasectomy eight years ago and my wife thinks she's pregnant. Is this possible that I could get her pregnant? We have not used any kind of birth control since the vasectomy. We still have a very active sex life I am 48 years old and she is 45 years old.
The answer is yes but highly unlikely. Most pregnancies following a vasectomy occur in the first 2 or 3 years. It is highly unlikely that you can impregnate your wife after that period of time. But the answer is if you continue to have concerns have your ejaculate looked at under the microscope. That would give you a definitive answer

It is less likely that she is pregnant now since this has not happened in the last 8 years. But it can be a late failure as well. So, the best thing that can be done now to confirm whether she is pregnant or not is to do a pregnancy test or do a semen analysis.

It's most unlikely, but certainly possible. I suggest you get a semen analysis to confirm the presence or absence of sperm in your ejaculate.
