Are sperm most likely non motile at 8 weeks post vasectomy regardless of number of ejaculations?

Would I really be fertile enough to cause a pregnancy at 8 weeks post? I've heard the sperm would degrade by this amount of time no matter how many ejaculations.

They may or may not be however that is not the issue. It is very important to have the semen evaluated for the absence of sperm. In general achieving no sperm is more related to the number of ejaculation rather than the time frame. Motility is also influenced by how soon the specimen is evaluated as after 30 minutes the sperm become less active. Your concern is more about the numbers seen not the motility.

NEVER take a chance. Some men have motile sperm 8 weeks or longer. And, if your vasectomy was not done correctly you may continue to have sperm. It's safe to have unprotected intercourse ONLY if you have a semen sample that shows 0 sperm.
