How effective are vasectomies at preventing pregnancy?
A man I’m dating told me he had a vasectomy 18 years ago and that vasectomies are only 50% effective. Is this true?

Know it is not true. Vasectomies are highly effective and when the follow-up visit looks at your sperm count it is almost always free of sperm. Once that is achieved most failures occur within 2 to 3 years. It is almost unheard of that any pregnancy would happen 18 years later
