Why do I have a lump on my penis?
I have a pea size lump on my vas at the base of my penis on the left side and then the vas feels hard and lumpy below for an inch. It isn’t painful. I am two and a half months post no needle no scalpel vasectomy.

There are several reasons but the most common, if what you feel is under the skin, is a Peyronies plaque. If you have some curvature with an erection then that seals the diagnosis. Cancer is rare, but epidermal cysts that you'll see on the skin are common. If concerned let a urologist examine the area.

My doctor gave me the choice of using the traditional needle anesthesia or the no needle delivery with a MadaJet. He said he usually advises patients to use the needle delivery because he can assure them there will be no discomfort during the procedure but cannot make the same promise with the no needle approach. He seemed to imply that I can either feel the pain upfront or later - you decide. I'm not sure what type of anesthesia to choose. What do you recommend?

On an advertisement I've seen for a vasectomy doctor, it states they use a no-needle anesthesia technique where they spray lidocaine or something. Does that mean I will be awake and coherent for this procedure? If so, I do not think I will be able to do that?

I have done tons of research and watched videos on vasectomies. Why doesn’t the AMA and AUA recommend laughing gas or general anasthesia? This looks extremely painful even when given something for anxiety! It turned me off to the whole procedure. Men feel pain too, especially in the most sensitive part of their body. In one video the doctor quipped “that’s my secret, the left side tells the right side what is about to happen.” He screamed out!
