I have been to my doctor twice in four months because of severe pain in my right testicle. He says it's an infection and gave antibiotics but the pain keeps coming back. It's worse during sex and about ten minutes after. It is a cramping, pulling sensation that goes up into the pelvis. The pain is very bad.
For reasons we don't understand, sometimes one side of a vasectomy is much more affected by the changes that occur with a vasectomy. It is most likely the mild increase in the pressure gradient as a result of the sperm not leaving the testicle. This in time does go away in most men. A trial of an antibiotic is sometimes helpful as epididymitis can be a cause of your symptoms.

Infection could be one of the causes. In that case, the right antibiotic must be taken for a long period of time. But to decide the treatment, more information is needed. It is, therefore, necessary to have a physical exam and scrotal ultrasound.
