This is a common question and concerns about sexuality is a common reason males are afraid to have a vasectomy. A vasectomy ties the tube that carries the sperm to the prostate. This is the only thing changed with a vasectomy and for this reason there are no changes to the male's sex life other than making him infertile. The hormone testosterone is produced in the testicle but is released into the body through the blood so this is not affected. Every thing about having sex remains the same except for the five to ten percent decrease in the ejaculate from not having sperm.
