10 days after my vasectomy, my right testicle is 5x larger than the left. Is this typical swelling/bruising or an infection/internal bleeding?

I had my vasectomy 10 days ago. For the first 6 days, everything seemed to be going really well. On day 7, there was great discomfort and pain coming from the right testicle. Today is day 10 and my right testicle is about 5x larger than the one on the left. Is this typical swelling and bruising or does it sound more like infection/internal bleeding?

It is not sound like infection but internal bleeding is certainly a possibility. However, it is also possible that there is a cystic formation that has occurred.

Hematomas usually occur relatively soon after the procedure. You may be experiencing epididymitis. For this reason, you should see your urologist about possible antibiotics. He will also recommend conservative measures to include elevation of the scrotum when sitting or sleeping.

From your description it seems like you have developed a hematoma, which is a collection of blood. It is better to get checked by your doctor and confirm it.
