Should I be concerned that my vasectomy failed considering the number of ejaculations before my first sample analysis?

Vasectomy on 3/5/2018 by a urologist. Ejaculated c.35 times over 9 weeks. Had my first test today 5/1/2018 showing rare non motile sperm.

This is not a concern. This is common. Having said this, urologists are conflicted about when to the give the green light for no protection. The likelihood of achieving pregnancy with "rare non motile sperm" is near impossible, however some prefer to see "no sperm" before officially saying you can have unprotected sex. Several studies show that having one hundred thousand or less after a vasectomy will not result in pregnancy and is common. My take: I say that your vasectomy was done properly and that the likelihood of achieving pregnancy is near nil, but the decision to use protection is yours.
