Yes there is but almost always, vasectomy reversal - when done by an expert - offers you and your husband the most opportunity to become pregnant and to have a baby at the lowest cost. There are but a few exceptions to that. Ten years is not a long time at all and is not a negative. There is a myth out there that after 10 years the rates of success go dramatically down but that is not at all true. In the hands of most of us who perform vasectomy reversals expertly as a part of what our surgical practice is, there is about a 90-95% chance that sperm will return to the ejaculate.
