My guy had a vasectomy 10 years ago. We had sex less than 48 hours before his sperm analysis. Could this have affected the results?

Almost all failures following a vasectomy occur within the first 2 years. It is exquisitely rare for a vasectomy to fail after 10 years beyond the procedure. Not saying that it cannot happen but it is highly unlikely. A semen analysis will settle the issue

If the vasectomy was 10 years ago and the semen analysis was negative, then it would not have affected the exam of the semen. If you are pregnant, then a semen analysis now will answer the issue if there is a question. The chance of recanalization is 1 in 2,000.
