The clamps placed during vasectomy came off and now the amount of cum is the same as before the surgery. Can I get my partner pregnant?

My vasectomy was 5 years ago; the healing went fine. A couple of years ago, I kept swelling and my balls would turn blue. Went to ER and they did an ultrasound. They said my clamps had almost come completely off. After ejaculation, my balls would shrivel up and feel like I was kicked in the balls by a horse. I also could feel the clamps. Now, I can’t feel my clamps and no pain. I'm back to pre-surgery amount of cum. We want another baby. Could it happen or do I need a reversal?

The volume of sperm changes very little after a vasectomy—about 10% or less—so this would not be a measure of fertility. The clamps or clips at five years are most probably a non-issue as the vas deferens have scarred and most likely closed. To answer the question about another baby and hopefully allay fears regarding whether you are fertile, you should have a semen analysis or order a home test kit through Spermcheck.com.

You probably need a reversal. I'd recommend a sperm count first.
