It has been 7 days since my vasectomy and my testicles are still very sore, tender, and in need of support. I'm becoming concerned. Should I be?

I notice very little improvement in the symptoms since the day after the procedure. It is interfering with my daily activities.

This is not an uncommon complaint. You should contact your urologist and return for an examination. It is highly likely that your complaint is going to resolve itself in a short period of time and you may need some medication prescribed by your urologist or the doctor who did the vasectomy.

Not unheard of, but if you are still quite tender, go see your urologist.

You need to be checked by your urologist. You may need a course of antibiotics. In the meantime, however, keep the support on and take Alieve for pain.
