Is it normal to still feel a dull pain 15 years after vasectomy?

I had a vasectomy 15 years ago. I was told titanium caps were used in that procedure back then. I feel a dull pain at times. Is that normal? I have diabetes 2, but otherwise fit. I also seem to have some minor erectile dysfunction at this age. I work too much, but love it. My main concern is the occasional dull pain. I do not live in the area anymore where I had the vasectomy, but want to know whether additional care is needed to resolve the pain.

There is a condition called post-vasectomy pain syndrome, which unfortunately is the dull occasional pain you are experiencing. There is no effective treatment for this, but simple analgesics like paracetamol or aspirin can help. Vasectomy is not related to the erectile dysfunction and most likely it is the age factor playing up.
