How do you know whether a vasectomy has failed?
My husband had a vasectomy 15 years ago before I ever met him. Since then, he found out the doctor who did his surgery was sued for malpractice due to a 95% failure rate. Is there a way to find out, without a sperm test, if his vasectomy has failed too?

The best way to determine whether a vasectomy has failed is to have a semen analysis. To limit the cost, you can ask the technician to only do a post-vasectomy semen analysis that checks solely for the presence or absence of sperm. You also can buy a kit from spermcheck.com. If the test is negative, it would be suitable evidence.
