Is it recommended to wear compressions while working out?

I had an EVLT and have been given the OK to go back to the gym. Is it recommended to wear compression stockings wile working out?

If you are doing heavy weight lifting, then wearing compression hose may help by reducing the venous pressure. If you are doing aerobic exercise and using your calf muscles such as running, biking, elliptical, etc., then support hose is unnecessary. There are no studies to prove that support hose during exercise will reduce the chances of reflux.
