I just had a vasectomy. When the doctor cut my right testicle, there was no sperm tube. I told the doctor I only have one kidney, which is my left side. He said this could be why I only have one sperm tube. Could he be right?

Yes, during the formation of the body, development of the kidney and vas are linked. In about 1 in 1,000 men, the kidney and the vas are missing on the same side. So, your situation is not that unusual and the urologist was right.

Yes, he could be right. You have congenital absence of right vas deferens, which can be associated with congenital absence of kidney.
