After a vasectomy, how long does it take for dull pain to go away after ejaculation/orgasm?

I had a vasectomy 9 days ago and my wife and I had sex on the 8th day. After orgasm my testicles had a dull/ache pain for several hours. Is this normal, when will that go away?

That varies from man to man. There are a very few men that say that they have a dull pain following vasectomy for years. That, however, is very rare. There are some who propose that the vas deferens not be occluded on the testicular side in order to prevent the pain that occurs. Those who do that only clamp the end of the transected that is beyond the site where the vasectomy has been performed

Pain with ejaculation after a vasectomy is not common but happens. It most probably is the result of changing the dynamics of the flow of sperm or the overall healing process of the vasectomy. I would expect this sensation to dissipate over time and then go away completely.
