Did my vasectomy fail? Is it possible for one sperm to slip through?

I had a vasectomy in 2002. I was cleared by the doctor to have sex without risk of being fertile. I have since been divorced. I dated another woman, who is now claiming she is pregnant and cites I'm the only one she has been with. We are in 2019. I have had sex many times without issue. Is it possible that my vasectomy no longer works? Could one sperm have slipped through?

The above scenario is possible but highly unlikely. If "one" did slip through, it would need at least 20 million more to get by as well. You can put this issue to rest with a semen analysis.

One sperm would not have been sufficient to get her pregnant. Get a semen analysis for your piece of mind.
