Can the clips migrate if they some how come off?

I had a vasectomy in 1989, the clips are no longer there! I have a couple of knots at the base of my penis, center mass, that cause slight pail when erect.

No elevated are not likely to migrate. The only way to know where they are at, however, is to do an x-ray. The metallic stents will show up very clearly

You may not have clip placed.
Curvature of penis on erection and mass palpable indicates you have probably Peyronie's plaque.

Yes clips can come off and clips can migrate. It's more plausible however that your clips are still there and you can't feel them because of the healing around it. The knot at the center of your penis, most probably on the top side, is most likely a Peyronie's plaque. This a "grizzle" that forms in the connective tissue of the penis. Sometimes there is an associated curvature of the penis when erect but this occurs after the inflammatory phase of this condition (pain) subsides. As with all concerns it is best to be evaluated by your urologist.
