I had a vasectomy 16 days ago. The incision (1.5-2.5 cm) has not healed and feels like the sutures are connected to the tissue under my scrotum. Is this possible? The incision itself does not seem to be healing correctly. It's not all the way closed and has large incisions sticking out one end. When I gently pull on them, I feel it deeper than the superficial skin. The incision site has some white/yellow to it and isn't draining significantly. MD started me on antibiotics 1 day post-op.

The way you are describing, I think the incision got infected. That is why your MD started you on antibiotics. I am not sure what type of sutures were used—absorbable or non-absorbable. It could be absorbable sutures that will disappear in a few weeks. Please do not try to pull it out. And yes, if you pull, it will feel as if it is stuck to the testes. The yellow/white is the discharge from the wound. Continue antibiotics and see your MD once finished.
