He is a graduate of Cook College and received his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his surgical residency and his urologic training at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Ackerman is an expert in vasectomy, in addition to general urology. Dr. Ackerman`s specific areas of urologic expertise include female incontinence; Laparoscopic Bladder Neck Surgery; male sexual dysfunction and male infertility.
