Gregory B. McCoy, MD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology. He is a Fellow of the American Urologic Association, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Oregon Urologic Society and a Delegate of the Multnomah County Medical Society. Dr. McCoy's interest in urology is driven by his interest in helping patients make dramatic improvements in their health without sacrificing quality of life.
Endoscopic treatment of kidney stones
Dr. McCoy has performed the no-scalpel vasectomy,
technique since 1989, now having completed over 2,500 procedures. He offers the
procedure in-office to provide comfort, convenience and efficiency for his
patients. This setting has been very well tolerated by his previous patients,
taking only between 7-10 minutes to perform the vasectomy. Patients rarely
require postoperative pain relievers, although they are given.
He also offers a specialized procedure for vasectomy reversal, which
includes a microscope assisted multi-layered technique. Dr. McCoy has
utilized his technique on hundreds of cases to optimize the male's ability to
impregnate his spouse.
