Had a vasectomy when I was 28, 30 years later, my epididymis is the size of my testicle.

Don't know exactly when it happened, but about 10 years ago I noticed my epididymis was the size of my testicle. It didn't happen gradually either; one day I just noticed it was large. Ever since my vasectomy, I had some problems with the left epididymis, it was sore longer than after my operation. From memory, it has always been a little tender, felt solid and a little larger than the right side. So after 30 years, all at once it got big and has stayed same size for approx. last 10 years

I recommend that you see a urologist for examination and ultrasound. Sometimes, cysts form on the epididymis and it is reassuring that it hasn't grown in size, but you do need an evaluation.
