Is a squeezing or poking sensation in the testicles normal after a vasectomy?

I had a vasectomy yesterday and my fear of feeling the squeezing of my testicles did happen which I expected, but it's that same feeling at certain times when I walk without holding my testicles up that I feel that sensation. Is that normal? And how long will it last? I feel it on the right side but not on my left. It bothers me so much that I cannot walk normal and I have to hold my scrotum up to avoid the pain temporarily.

After every vasectomy you should wear a jockstrap. What you are describing is the reason that all of our patients are instructed to purchase 1 ahead of time and use it afterward. The second thing is you should basically spend a lot of your time in the reclining position for the first 48 hours. Intermittent ice also helps this. All of these things are routine instructions postvasectomy

Various discomforts commonly occur in the testicles after a vasectomy. It can take weeks for the inside of the scrotum to heal. Also, the testicles move around, and this can exacerbate the symptoms of the healing process. This may be why elevating the testicles makes things better. I'd recommend compression underwear, anti-inflammatory medication, and being patient. In the vast majority of cases, the symptoms you are experiencing will abate and resolve.
