If my mate had a vasectomy 11 years ago is it possible for it to grow back, and I can get pregnant?

How many years is a vasectomy good for?

It is possible to grow back but very unlikely. The chances of the tubes reconnecting is about 1/2000 and this diminishes even more as the time from the vasectomy increases.

A vasectomy is meant to be a permanent procedure. However, there is a 1/2000 failure rate for vasectomies and this could happen soon after the vasectomy, or later. There are reports of partners getting pregnant 8 or more years after a vasectomy when a post-vasectomy semen analysis was negative.
