Can the vas deferens tubes reconnect after 27 years?

I had a vasectomy 27 years ago. Is it possible for the vas deferens tubes to grow back to together?

Anything is possible but this would be unlikely. It is easy to test by getting a semen analysis.

Yes. It's possible anytime post-vasectomy, but to fail at 27 years out has to be very rare. The longest to failure in my personal experience is 16 years.

Yes, they can reattach if the sutures or clips fall off from both ends. If the ends were cauterized or heated, it is unlikely that they can reattach. Best is to have both clips\sutures and also cautery, and then it is nearly impossible for any reconnection to occur.
